Back-to-School Night

Upper School Families,

We cordially invite you to our 2024 Back-to-School Night on September 19, 2024. Back-to-School Night allows parents and guardians to experience their students' school day here at New Roads. You will hear presentations from your student’s teachers regarding their classroom policies and get a chance to briefly connect with them. Please note, this evening is not for individual discussions on your student’s progress in any class, but rather a chance to gain insight into your student’s learning environment. Teachers will share about preferred methods of communication in their presentations.

Please arrive at New Roads between 5:30 - 6PM. You will check in at Eden to receive your student’s class schedule, and proceed to the Discovery Forest to learn about our elective offerings. Introductions will take place in the Moss Theater at 6:05PM, followed by meetings with students’ advisors and academic teachers. The program will conclude at 7:55PM after the E Block teacher presentation.

We look forward to seeing you there! Please direct any questions about this event to Cade Wingo (cwingo@newroads.org).
