Interim Head of School 2024-25 and 2025-26 School Years

Exciting news! The Board of Trustees has announced that Dan Vorenberg will serve as Interim Head of School for New Roads for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 school years. In announcing Dan’s appointment, Board Chair Alan Hoffman says, “Dan is the ideal person to lead New Roads and was the clear choice of both the Board and Administrators due to his experience leading independent schools, commitment to progressive education and ability to execute on a strategic vision.” Dan shares, “Having spent some time in Los Angeles I have had the great pleasure of coming to know New Roads as a receiving school for Mirman students and a national leader in progressive education. Now having had the chance to visit classes, speak to trustees and administration, watch faculty in action, and most importantly, witness powerful experiential opportunities clearly causal to learning for children, I am both inspired and energized by the prospect of leading New Roads for the next two years as the Trustees set the stage for securing institutional leadership for the foreseeable future.”
