Class of 2019 Alumna LeRoya Sanford on Penn and Teller Friday, November 12

Class of 2019 alumna LeRoya Sanford will be the first African American woman to perform magic on the Penn and Teller: Fool Us television program on The CW this Friday, November 12! Fool Us invites aspiring magicians to perform their best trick and try to fool world-famous magicians Penn and Teller. LeRoya began her rise in stand-up comedy and magic at New Roads through our elective’s programs and on campus performances. 
LeRoya received the Spirit of New Roads Award at her high school graduation. New Roads presents this award each year to a graduating senior who embodies and exemplifies New Roads’ values. LeRoya is now a Posse Scholar in her junior year at Dickinson College.
